When I went to Japan… well, let’s just put it this way… I would have gone home alot sooner if it hadn’t been for Laura. She was the only other foreigner in my town and my boss. But that didn’t matter. We hung out all the time and had rituals that involved ordering the same meal at a local restaurant but sans cheese for her and sans bacon for me. And it turned out that she had lived in the city that I had gone to school in and she actual knew people that I knew.
What a freakin’ concidence.
Fast forward a few years. We are both back in Victoria, me because I was homesick and her because her man came to Japan and took her home. Thus, time for a shower.

I like natural light. Sure, flashes are good and you can make gorgeous pictures with flashes… but natural light. So beautiful. So delicate. Plus, if you have a good looking girl in gorgeous natural light. Ahhh.
This is my friend Rina, who gamely put her wedding dress back on. My friend who had a baby less than 4 months ago. Ok, so it didn’t exactly fit but that’s the kind of friend she is.
